Pand onder zadeldak tegen fraaie halsgevel met gebeeldhouwde hoekstukken in régence-trant met opschrift: ANNO 1745, binnenplaats en tussenlid, achterhuis.
Eind 19e eeuwse winkelpui met door pilasters met leeuwen- en mannenkopjes en opschrift RBN A D 1896 gesteunde architraaf.
Fraai jugendstil/art-deco interieur uit 1910 van de hand van de architect N.J. Adema (1860-1946), gemaakt in opdracht van koffie- en theehandelaar Van Balen.

Building under gabled roof against fine neck gable with sculpted corner pieces in régence style with inscription: ANNO 1745, courtyard and middle section, rear house.
Late 19th century shop front with architrave supported by pilasters with lion and male heads and inscription RBN A D 1896.
Fine Art Nouveau/Art Deco interior from 1910 by architect N.J. Adema (1860-1946), made on commission of coffee and tea merchant Van Balen.
The interior components include counters and elegantly curved display stands with cut glass; the partition wall between shop and adjoining room with cut glass and Art Nouveau motifs; the wall cabinets, fitted with ornamental wrought iron work by Johannes Tacoma (Amsterdam) and two polychrome tile tableaux, depicting coffee and tea drinking, by a certain Park.
