Omschrijving
Herv. Kerk. Grote gotische dorpskerk op door ringweg omgeven kerkhof, bestaande uit zes traveeën lang schip met vijfzijdige koorsluiting in 1877 vernieuwd, aanbouwen aan de vierde travee aan noord- en zuidzijde, waarvan die aan de zuidzijde door zadeldak tegen topgevel, die aan de noordzijde door zelfstandig dak door spits torentje bekroond, gedekt worden.
Aan de noordzijde zeer rijke omlijsting van de vensters en klimmend boogfries aan de uitbouw, die overigens ook zeer oud tufstenen muurwerk vertoont en een restant van een oudere kerk kan zijn.
In drie geledingen opgaande toren uit 1806.
De kerk bezit een 18e eeuwse preekstoel, rijk gesneden met bijbehorende trap, achterschot, klankbord, doophek; drie herenbanken, groot orgel uit 1811, drie rouwborden en een groot aantal (onzichtbare) grafzerken. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Rugwerk in 1810 door A. van Gruisen gemaakt. In 1871 uitgebreid met een vrij Pedaal door W. Hardorff. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van G. van Wou en J. ter Steghe, 1542, diam. 140,5 cm., en één van J. Noteman, 1648, diam. 120 cm.

Description
Protestant Church. Large Gothic village church on a churchyard surrounded by a ring road, consisting of six bays long nave with five-sided choir closure renewed in 1877, extensions at the fourth bay on the north and south sides, of which that on the south side is covered by a gabled roof against a pointed gable, that on the north side by an independent roof crowned by a slender little tower.
On the north side very rich moulding of the windows and climbing arch frieze on the extension, which otherwise also shows very old tufa stone masonry and may be a remnant of an older church.
On the north side a tower rising in three sections from 1806.
The church possesses an 18th-century pulpit, richly carved with accompanying staircase, sounding board, soundboard canopy, baptism gate; three gentlemen's pews, large organ from 1811, three funeral boards and a large number of (invisible) gravestones. Organ with Main section and Rückpositive made in 1810 by A. van Gruisen. In 1871 extended with a free Pedal by W. Hardorff. Bell frame with carillon of two bells, of which one by G. van Wou and J. ter Steghe, 1542, diameter 140.5 cm., and one by J. Noteman, 1648, diameter 120 cm.
