The register's description
Omschrijving
N.H.Kerk en toren op verhoogd, omheind kerkhof. Romano-gotisch kerkgebouw, uitwendig vijfzijdig, inwendig halfrond gesloten; de westtoren met zadeldak zou blijkens stichtingssteen in 1651 opgetrokken zijn doch is waarschijnlijk 18e eeuws evenals de westgevel. In de kerk preekstoel met klankbord, herenbank met snijwerk en banken met knoppen, gesneden 18e eeuwse tafel. Orgel uit 1809 gemaakt door L. van Dam. In 1834 door Van Dam uitgebreid met een Bovenwerk op balustrade met wapens Lewe-Alberda. 16e eeuwse zerk. In de toren twee zeer oude zerken. Mechanisch smeedijzeren torenuurwerk, ca. 1640.

Description
N.H. Church and tower on elevated, enclosed churchyard. Romanesque-Gothic church building, externally five-sided, internally semicircular closed; the west tower with gabled roof would according to its foundation stone have been built in 1651 but is probably 18th century as is the west gable. In the church a pulpit with sounding-board, gentlemen's bench with carved work and benches with knobs, carved 18th-century table. Organ made in 1809 by L. van Dam. In 1834 expanded by Van Dam with a Backwerk on a balustrade with the arms of Lewe-Alberda. 16th-century tombstone. In the tower two very old tombstones. Mechanical wrought-iron clock mechanism, circa 1640.
