Omschrijving
In de kern vroeg 17e eeuws vakwerkhuis met verdieping onder zadeldak gedekt met pannen en met de nok evenwijdig aan de straat. Voorgevel waarschijnlijk opgetrokken uit breuksteen en ca 1920 gecementeerd, achtergevel opgebouwd uit vakwerk. Oorspronkelijk afhang vervangen door achterbouw (ca. 1920). Het pand bestaat uit een breed vak, oorspronkelijk de poort (nr 36) met twee enkelvoudige verdiepings-balklagen evenwijdig aan de straat en vier vrijwel even brede vakken, twee kamers van elk twee vakken, (nr 34) met haaks op de straat twee samengestelde verdiepings-balklagen met ingelaten kinderbinten. Onder het tweede en derde vak van links, een tongewelfde, uit mergel opgetrokken kelder met trap uit kolenzandsteen. Op de begane grond aan beide zijden van de scheidingsmuur tussen de twee kamers een schouw, in de linker kamer voorzien van vroeg 17e eeuwse wangen met hermen en ionische kapitelen, welke waarschijnlijk van elders afkomstig zijn. Op de verdieping tussen het eerste en tweede vak van links een vakwerkwand, die aan de woonhuiszijde is betimmerd met eiken planken voorzien van klein profiel (XVIII). In deze wand bevindt zich een oorspronkelijke doorgang en in het midden ervan staat een stijl met schoren. De kap is in drie vakken verdeeld. Per vak drie stijlen, die de nokgording en de dekplaten dragen. De stijlen zijn afzonderlijk of per twee geschoord.

Description
In the core an early 17th century half-timbered house with storey under gabled roof covered with tiles and with the ridge parallel to the street. Front facade probably built from rubble stone and cemented around 1920, rear facade constructed from half-timbering. Original rear section replaced by rear extension (c. 1920). The property consists of a broad bay, originally the gateway (no. 36) with two simple storey floor beams parallel to the street and four nearly equally broad bays, two rooms each of two bays, (no. 34) with perpendicular to the street two composite storey floor beams with embedded bressummer joists. Below the second and third bay from the left, a barrel-vaulted cellar built from marl with staircase from coal sandstone. On the ground floor on both sides of the partition wall between the two rooms a chimney, in the left room provided with early 17th century chimney jambs with herms and Ionic capitals, which are probably from elsewhere. On the storey between the first and second bay from the left a half-timbered wall, which is on the dwelling house side fitted with oak boards provided with small moulding (XVIII). In this wall is an original passage and in the middle of it stands a post with braces. The roof truss structure is divided into three bays. Per bay three posts, which carry the ridge beam and the roof boards. The posts are braced individually or in pairs.
