Inleiding
Pand uit de eerste helft van de 19e eeuw. In 1907 in opdracht van Langemeijer en Stocker naar ontwerp van Bruijns en Hageman verbouwd tot winkel met magazijn. Ca. 1915 werd in opdracht van de firma Langemeijer naar een ontwerp van de architecht A. Jacot in samenwerking met bouwkundig/aannemer J. Verheus, de winkelpui verbouwd.
Omschrijving
PAND uit de eerste helft van de 19e eeuw met WINKELPUI uit ca. 1915. Het pand bestaat uit twee bouwlagen onder en kap. Het pand is drie traveeen breed; de winkelpui neemt de gehel breedte van de begane grong in beslag. De pui, in de stijl van de AMsterdamse School, kent een symmetrische opzet met een diep portiek in het midden met de toegandsdeur. Vloer met kleine rode vierkante tegels. Aan weerszijden hiervan gebogen winkelruiten boven hardstenen plint. Ruiten uitgevoerd met een kalf waarboven bovenlichten met een verticale geleding. Boven de latei, met recente bak voor rolluik, een vensterpartij als bovenlicht, bestaande uit vijf paren, onder een hoek geplaatste ruiten met glas-in-lood vulling. De ruiten eindigen in een puntvorm en zijn gevat in gedecoreerd houtwerk, en houten posten met ornament aan weerszijden. Hierboven een breed houten fries met sierlijsten en decoratief gebruik van loden beslag. Het houtwerk is van mahoniehout. Boven de winkelpui het metselwerk van het oorspronkelijke pand met daarin drie vensters met schuiframen. Gootlijst met consoles.
Waardering
Het pand is van algemeen belang vanwege architectuurhistorische waarden. De pui vertegenwoordigt een versterking van deze waarden als karakteristieke, in stijl van de Amsterdamse school uitgevoerd ontwerp en als zodanig gaaf bewaard. Pand met gevel onder rechte lijst met consoles (XIX A).

Description
BUILDING from the first half of the 19th century with SHOPFRONT from circa 1915. The building consists of two storeys and roof. The building is three bays wide; the shopfront takes up the entire width of the ground floor. The front, in the style of the Amsterdam School, has a symmetrical layout with a deep portico in the middle with the entrance door. Floor with small red square tiles. On either side of this curved shop windows above hard stone plinth. Windows executed with a calf above which fanlights with vertical glazing. Above the lintel, with recent casing for roller shutter, a window section as fanlight, consisting of five pairs, diagonally positioned panes with leaded glass filling. The panes end in a pointed form and are set in decorated woodwork, and wooden posts with ornament on either side. Above this a broad wooden frieze with mouldings and decorative use of lead cladding. The woodwork is of mahogany. Above the shopfront the masonry of the original building with in it three windows with sash windows. Gutter moulding with consoles.
Valuation
The building is of general importance because of architectural-historical values. The front represents a reinforcement of these values as a characteristic design executed in the style of the Amsterdam School and as such well preserved.
