Ned. Herv. Kerk. Rijzige, laat-gotische kruiskerk, gebouwd in de loop van de 15e en het begin van de 16e eeuw nadat in 1420 een romaanse voorgangster verbrand was. Het schip bezit alleen aan de zuidzijde een zijbeuk; van de noordelijke kwamen slechts de scheibogen tot uitvoering. Diep, 5/8 gesloten koor met aan de zuidzijde een sacristie. Tegen de oostmuur van het noordertransept een traptoren. Inwendig over koor en dwarsschip netgewelven op kolonetten. Schip en zijbeuk hebben kruisribgewelven, die echter uit 1643 dateren. De kerk is hersteld na een brand in 1635; een algehele restauratie is aangevangen in 1964. Tot de inventaris behoren o.a.: een eiken preekstoel en een doophek uit 1674, vier koperen kronen uit 1791, verscheidene zerken uit de 17e en 18e eeuw. De toren is een fors, met secundair verwerkte tufsteen bekleed bouwwerk, van drie geledingen, waarvan de bovenste twee in ieder gevelvlak twee slanke spitsboognissen met traceringen bezitten. In de 17e eeuw (V.L.) of in 1765 (jaartal in korbeel onder de spits) verkreeg de toren een merkwaardige afsluiting, bestaande uit een boogfries, waarboven een reeks spitsboognissen met vorktraceringen en , boven de waterlijst, een borstwering met blinde rondboognissen. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Reformed Church. Imposing late-Gothic cruciform church, built in the course of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century after a Romanesque predecessor burned in 1420. The nave has an aisle only on the south side; of the northern one only the arcade arches were executed. Deep, 5/8 closed choir with a sacristy on the south side. Against the east wall of the north transept a stair tower. Internally over choir and transept net vaults on columns. Nave and aisle have cross-ribbed vaults, which however date from 1643. The church was restored after a fire in 1635; a comprehensive restoration was begun in 1964. Among the fittings are: an oak pulpit and a baptismal gate from 1674, four brass crowns from 1791, various tombstones from the 17th and 18th centuries. The tower is a substantial structure clad with secondarily worked tuff stone, of three stages, the upper two of which have in each facade two slender pointed arch recesses with tracery. In the 17th century (second half) or in 1765 (date in corbel below the spire) the tower received a remarkable closure, consisting of an arch frieze, above which a series of pointed arch recesses with fork tracery and, above the drip moulding, a parapet with blind round arch recesses. Mechanical tower clock is no longer in use.
