Huis met trapgevel met in het fries leeuwenmasker, een steen met voorstelling van een struisvogel en twee steentjes met ANNO en 1662 in Vredeman de Vries ornament. Toppilaster op maskerkraagsteen. Sierankers. Deur met kussenpanelen en snijraam, XIX A, in pilasteromlijsting, XVIII. Steen met borstbeeld van dominee Jan van Nieuwenhuizen, 1896. In dit huis werd in 1784 de maatschappij tot Nut van het Algemeen opgericht. Voor het huis gecanneleerde stoeppaaltjes.

Description
House with stepped gable with lion mask in the frieze, a stone with representation of an ostrich and two small stones with ANNO and 1662 in Vredeman de Vries ornament. Top pilaster on mask corbel. Ornamental wall anchors. Door with cushion panels and transom window, first half of the 19th century, in pilaster frame, 18th century. Stone with bust of reverend Jan van Nieuwenhuizen, 1896. In this house the society for the Nut van het Algemeen was founded in 1784. In front of the house fluted bollards.
