Deze nieuwe omschrijving luidt thans als volgt: Grote of Sint Nicolaaskerk.
Laatgotische hallenkerk met westtoren, driebeukig schip, een dwarswand en een driebeukig koor.
Librije tegen de zuidzijde van het koor.
Uitgebouwd noordportaal. Bekapping, meubilair (preekstoel, doophek, doopbanken, herenbanken, kerkbanken en twee tochtportalen) en gebrandschilderde glazen van na een brand in 1602. Zes laatgotische banken. Zerkenvloer. Koperen lezenaar, doopboog en doopbekkenhouder, XVII. a. hoofdorgel: Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Rugwerk, in 1663 gemaakt door B. Smit. In 1716 gewijzigd door M. Verhofstad. Bij de restauratie van 1980 is de toestand-Verhofstad hersteld. b. kabinetorgel: eenklaviers orgel met 8 registers, midden 19e eeuw gemaakt door H. ter Hart. Klokkenstoel met klok van Gerhart Schimmel, 1701, diam. 142,3 cm.

Late Gothic hall church with west tower, three-aisled nave, a transept wall and a three-aisled choir.
Side chapel against the south side of the choir.
Protruding north portal. Roof covering, furnishings (pulpit, baptismal gate, baptismal benches, gentlemen's pews, church pews and two draught portals) and stained-glass windows from after a fire in 1602. Six late Gothic pews. Stone slab floor. Copper lectern, baptismal arch and font stand holder, 17th century. a. main organ: Organ with Great Work and Back Work, made in 1663 by B. Smit. Modified in 1716 by M. Verhofstad. At the restoration of 1980 the Verhofstad state was restored. b. cabinet organ: single manual organ with 8 registers, made mid 19th century by H. ter Hart. Bell frame with bell by Gerhart Schimmel, 1701, diam. 142.3 cm.
