Description

In its core a Late Gothic dwelling house, first half of 16th century. The first storey of the front facade of the Dordrecht type, first half of 16th century, with three-lobed arches, of which the joints still show remains of fleurs de lis. Strongly weathered colonettes under the arches. The oculi in the second storey still of the original brickwork, but the top further restored in the 17th century, when the somewhat oval cartouche with the inscription ANNO 1646 was applied. Wall anchors. Well-fitting wooden lower frontage of circa 1800; the remaining windows in 19th century forms in the original position, but drawn downwards, cutting through the sandstone bands. In the interior mother and child beams from the first half of 16th century, in the front room the ground floor is encased circa 1800 with simple stucco panels with a single profiled moulding, whereby the composite keystones, which had consisted of a sandstone console under an oak keystone, have been removed. Under the floor over the first storey at the third mother beam on the left still an intact keystone, first half of 16th century. This keystone has a pear-bead profile, of which the nose is turned over the bead along the sides, while the actual pear-bead profile is followed by a small but very richly detailed decoration consisting of a twisted staff accompanied by small flower petals. Also on the first storey a number of wall studs.
