Omschrijving
HOEKPAND Haringstraat. Woonhuis "De Gekroonde Haring". Monumentaal pand met hoog schilddak, waarop aan de voorzijde nokversiering met als windwijzer gekroonde haring. Voorgevel (eerste kwart achttiende eeuw) met hardstenen vensterdorpels, Empire schuiframen en, boven de kroonlijst, attiekvormige, grote dakkapel met gebeeldhouwde zijvoluten en driehoekig fronton.
Zeer gehavend Lodewijk XIV interieur.
Fraai gebouw van algemeen belang wegens oudheidkundige en kunsthistorische waarde.

Description
CORNER BUILDING Haringstraat. Dwelling house "De Gekroonde Haring". Monumental building with high hipped roof, on the front of which a roof crest with crowned herring as weathervane. Front facade (first quarter eighteenth century) with stone window sills, Empire sash windows and, above the cornice, attic-like, large dormer window with sculptured side volutes and triangular pediment.
Very dilapidated Louis XIV interior.
Fine building of general importance because of its antiquarian and art historical value.
