Omschrijving
Waals Hervormde Kerk. Langgerekte ZAALKERK op de hoek van de Voor- en Visstraat. Oorspronkelijk kerk van het H. Sacramentsgasthuis aan de Visstraat, sinds 1635 in bezit van de Waalse Gemeente. De kapel, reeds in 1608 ingekort, werd in 1840 nagenoeg afgebroken en herbouwd.
Het gebouw is negen traveeën lang. De bakstenen zijgevel aan de Visstraat heeft geprofileerde, rondbogige nissen waarbinnen de vensters. Vroeg neogotische voorgevel aan de Voorstraat, waarboven een zeshoekig klokkentorentje van twee geledingen, afkomstig van de in 1840 gesloopte Engelse kerk aan de Wijnstraat.
Inwendig: zaalkerk met koofplafond, pilasters langs de wanden en meubilair in Lodewijk XVI vormen. Gegraveerd zilveren doopbekken (1784).
Fraai gebouw van algemeen belang wegens oudheidkundige en kunsthistorische waarde. Klokkenstoel met klok van onbekende gieter, diam. 50 cm.

Description
Waals Hervormde Kerk. Elongated HALL CHURCH on the corner of the Voor- and Visstraat. Originally the chapel of the H. Sacramentsgasthuis on the Visstraat, since 1635 in possession of the Walloon Congregation. The chapel, already shortened in 1608, was almost completely demolished and rebuilt in 1840.
The building is nine bays long. The brick side facade on the Visstraat has moulded, round-arched recesses within which the windows. Early neogothic front facade on the Voorstraat, above which a hexagonal bell tower of two tiers, coming from the English church on the Wijnstraat demolished in 1840.
Interior: hall church with coffer ceiling, pilasters along the walls and furnishings in Louis XVI forms. Engraved silver baptismal basin (1784).
Fine building of general importance owing to its archaeological and art-historical value. Bell frame with bell by unknown founder, diameter 50 cm.
