Omschrijving
HOEKPAND Grotekerksbuurt (XVIII) op winkelhaakvormige plattegrond, het pand Stadhuisplein 2-3 omsluitend.
De voorgevel aan de Grotekerksbuurt heeft een gedateerde kroonlijst (1740). Empire ramen en in de bovenste verdieping ramen met roedenverdeling in stijl XVIII. Geprofileerde natuurstenen vensterdorpels. Het voorste vak van het huis is een verdieping hoger dan de daarachter gelegen vakken.
De zijgevel aan het Stadhuisplein heeft Empire ramen.
Aan de Voorstraatshaven een puntgevel met vlechtingen en muurankers. Zoldervenster met half kruiskozijnen en luiken (XVIII).
Fraai gebouw van eenvoudige doch harmonische architectuur en van oudheidkundige waarde.

Description
CORNER BUILDING Grotekerksbuurt (18th century) on a hook-shaped plan, enclosing the building Stadhuisplein 2-3.
The front facade on the Grotekerksbuurt has a dated cornice (1740). Empire windows and on the upper storey windows with glazing bars in 18th century style. Profiled natural stone window sills. The front bay of the house is one storey higher than the bays behind it.
The side facade on the Stadhuisplein has Empire windows.
On the Voorstraatshaven a spout gable with wattle and ornamental wall anchors. Attic window with half cross windows and shutters (18th century).
Fine building of simple yet harmonious architecture and of antiquarian value.
