Omschrijving
Spannenburg. Voormalige uitspanning het Wapen van Friesland. Schilderachtig en fraai gebouw; het hoofdgebouw zonder verdieping onder hoog schilddak met hoekschoorstenen; zesruitsvensters en halfrond gesloten ingang in het midden met festoen langs de boog. Voor drie van de vijf traveeën van het gebouw is een verdieping voorgebouwd onder laag zadeldak tegen tympaan waarin het wapen van Friesland. De voorbouw rust beganegronds op vier kolommen, waarvan de buitenste door muren, waarin een poortdoorgang is uitgespaard, met de eigenlijke voorgevel zijn verbonden. De verdieping van de voorbouw is geleed door Toskaanse pilasters en heeft, evenals het hoofdgebouw, zesruitsvensters. Omgaande geblokte gootlijsten.

Description
Spannenburg. Former inn the Coat of Arms of Friesland. Picturesque and fine building; the main building without storey under high hipped roof with corner chimneys; six-pane windows and semicircular closed entrance in the centre with festoon along the arch. In front of three of the five bays of the building a storey is built out under low gabled roof against tympanum in which the coat of arms of Friesland. The outbuilding rests at ground floor on four columns, the outer ones connected by walls, in which a gateway is spared, with the actual front facade. The storey of the outbuilding is articulated by Tuscan pilasters and has, like the main building, six-pane windows. Surrounding blocked gutter lines.
