Omschrijving
Parochiekerk van O.L.Vrouw Onbevlekt Ontvangen ("de Posthoorn"). Belangrijk werk uit de eerste periode van P.J.H.Cuypers, gebouwd 1860-1863, "westelijk" transept en torens voltooid in 1889. Driebeukige kruisbasiliek in vormen, geinspireerd op de vroege gotiek van het Isle le France. Dubbele galerijen in het schip, klaverbladvormige "oostelijke" partij, bekroond door een vieringtoren. De kerk is een der eerste voorbeelden van de toepassing van verschillend gekleurde baksteen in het inwendige.

Description
Parish Church of Our Lady Immaculately Conceived ("de Posthoorn"). Important work from the first period of P.J.H.Cuypers, built 1860-1863, western transept and towers completed in 1889. Three-aisled cruciform basilica in forms inspired by the early gothic of the Isle of France. Double galleries in the nave, trefoil-shaped eastern section, crowned by a vaulting tower. The church is one of the first examples of the application of differently coloured brick in the interior.
