Omschrijving
Toren van de Grote Kerk. De toren, aansluitend tegen het westeinde van het zuidschip, bestaat uit twee XV B geledingen en, als bekroning, een achtzijdige koepel uit 1613, ontworpen door Hendrick de Keyser. Op de zuidoosthoek een achtzijdig traptorentje, oprijzend tot de omloop op de eerste geleding; tegen de westzijde van de onderste geleding twee zware steunberen. De toren is de laatste jaren gerestaureerd.
Klokkenstoel met gelui van vier klokken, waarvan één van P. Hemony, 1653, diam. 173 cm. en drie moderne klokken. Klokkenspel, waarvan 21 klokken gegoten door F. en P. Hemony 1647/53, 7 door F. Henomy 1664 en 1 H. Wegewaert 1613. Trommelspeelwerk van Nering Bögel, 1866. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, Firma Borel, Parijs, 1862. In de dakruiter boven de Magistratenkapel een klok van een anonieme gieter, 1943, diam. 55 cm.

Description
Tower of the Great Church. The tower, adjoining the west end of the south nave, consists of two 15th-century divisions and, as a crown, an octagonal cupola from 1613, designed by Hendrick de Keyser. On the south-east corner an octagonal stair turret, rising to the parapet on the first division; against the west side of the lower division two heavy buttresses. The tower has been restored in recent years.
Bell cage with peal of four bells, one of which by P. Hemony, 1653, diam. 173 cm. and three modern bells. Carillon, of which 21 bells cast by F. and P. Hemony 1647/53, 7 by F. Hemony 1664 and 1 by H. Wegewaert 1613. Drum mechanism by Nering Bögel, 1866. Mechanical tower clock, Firma Borel, Paris, 1862. In the roof turret above the Magistrate's Chapel a bell by an anonymous founder, 1943, diam. 55 cm.
