Omschrijving
Een in de kern 17e eeuws pand onder schilddak gedekt met pannen. Pand is gedeeltelijk onderkelderd; 15e eeuwse kelder met dwarse segmentboogvormige gewelven op gordelbogen, die in het midden rusten op pijlertjes met afgeschuinde hoeken. De kelder behoort nog tot het oude complex van de Broeders des Gemene Levens, 19e eeuwse voorgevel afgesloten door brede geprofileerde lijst; schuifvensters (op verdieping 6-ruits) dubbele neo-renaissance deur met smeedijzeren deurposten. Achtergevel afgesloten met kroonlijst; 6-ruitsschuifvensters. Het pand vormt een geheel met Engestraat 2-4.

Description
A building 17th century in its core, covered with hipped roof of tiles. Building is partly cellared; 15th century cellar with transverse segmental barrel vaults on ribs, which rest in the middle on small pillars with chamfered corners. The cellar still belongs to the old complex of the Brethren of the Common Life, 19th century front facade closed by broad profiled cornice; sash windows (on upper storey 6-pane) double neo-renaissance door with wrought-iron door posts. Back facade closed with cornice; 6-pane sash windows. The building forms one unit with Engestraat 2-4.
