Omschrijving
De Broederenkerk. Oorspronkelijk kloosterkerk van de Deventer Minderbroeders, thans R.K. parochiekerk van de H. Lebuinus. In zijn huidige gedaante een tweeschepige hallenkerk, waarvan de zuidelijke beuk breder is dan de noordelijke. De zuidbeuk met het koor en de vierkante travee halverwege de noordbeuk zijn onderdelen van de eerste helft veertiende eeuw/eerste helft vijftiende eeuw kruisbasiliek, die blijkbaar oorspronkelijk het doel was. Het hoge zijkoor en de hoge noorderzijbeuk uit eerste of tweede kwart vijftiende eeuw. Neo-gotisch portaal tegen westwand van de zuidbeuk en uitbreiding van noordelijk koor met een travee, beide tweede helft negentiende eeuw. Inventaris: grafzerk van Alianora van Engeland. Orgel in 1866 gemaakt door de firma Ibach met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk en vrij Pedaal. Het in 1955 aangebrachte Positief tussen de twee oude orgelkassen, valt buiten de bescherming. Mechanisch torenuurwerk A. Vos & Zonen, Nunen, 1887. Later voorzien van electrische opwinding, 4/4 uurwerk en angeluswerk.

Description
The Broederenkerk. Originally cloister church of the Deventer Franciscans, now R.C. parish church of St. Lebuinus. In its present form a two-aisle hall church, of which the southern aisle is wider than the northern one. The south aisle with the choir and the square bay halfway along the north aisle are components of the first half of the 14th century/first half of the 15th century cruciform basilica, which apparently was originally the intended design. The high side choir and the high north side aisle from first or second quarter of the 15th century. Neo-gothic portal against west wall of the south aisle and extension of north choir with a bay, both second half of the 19th century. Inventory: memorial stone of Alianora of England. Organ made in 1866 by the firm Ibach with Great, Choir and free Pedal. The Positive added in 1955 between the two old organ cases falls outside the protection. Mechanical tower clock A. Vos & Zonen, Nunen, 1887. Later provided with electric winding, 4/4 clock mechanism and angelus work.
