Omschrijving
"Penninckshuis". Pand, waarvan het rechtergedeelte ingrijpend is gerestaureerd. In de borstweringen van dit gedeelte een zestal natuurstenen cartouches en mascarons. Het rijk met beeldhouwwerk in natuursteen uitgevoerde linkergedeelte, waarvan het oorspronkelijk karakter goed bewaard bleef, is opgebouwd uit een forse boogpoort aan de begane grond, door beeldnissen - met fronton bekroond - geflankeerde vensterpartijen op de verdieping en een eveneens van beeldnissen voorziene geveltop. In de nissen beelden van gepersonificeerde deugden. Op de borstweringen door leeuwen opgehouden wapenschilden en cartouches met spreuk, plm 1500.

"Penninckshuis". Building, of which the right part has been thoroughly restored. In the parapets of this part half a dozen natural stone cartouches and mascarons. The richly carved left part in natural stone, of which the original character is well preserved, is built up from a substantial arched gateway at ground level, window arrangements flanked by sculptured figures - crowned with a pediment - on the upper storey and a gable top likewise provided with sculptured figures. In the niches images of personified virtues. On the parapets coats of arms held by lions and cartouches with inscription, c. 1500.
