Omschrijving
De Bergkerk, eertijds St. Nicolaaskerk. Gotische basiliek. Koor en omgang, XVA; schip en zijbeuken, XVB. De beide, twee traveeën diepe kapellen aan noord- en zuidzijde (circa 1500) liggen in het verlengde van wat het transept was der romaanse kerk van omstreeks 1200. Van deze romaanse kruisbasiliek resteren o.a. de beide uiterste oostelijke hoeken van het transept; hierin nissen met XIIIa schilderingen. De wanden ontpleisterd en gesausd, met uitzondering van delen met muurschilderingen, bij de restauratie 1915-1924. Inventaris: preekstoel (XVId). Orgel (1843) door J.H. Hoetgrave. Acht koperen kaarsenkronen (XVII) en vijftien koperen wandluchters. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Rugwerk en aangehangen Pedaal, in 1843 gemaakt door J.H. Holtgrave.

Description
The Bergkerk, formerly St. Nicolaaskerk. Gothic basilica. Choir and ambulatory, 15th century first half; nave and side aisles, 15th century second half. The two chapels, two bays deep, on the north and south sides (circa 1500) lie in the extension of what was the transept of the Romanesque church of around 1200. Of this Romanesque cross basilica remain among others the two outermost eastern corners of the transept; in them niches with 13th century first half paintings. The walls unplastered and sized, with the exception of parts with wall paintings, during the restoration 1915-1924. Inventory: pulpit (16th century second half). Organ (1843) by J.H. Hoetgrave. Eight copper candelabra (17th century) and fifteen copper wall lights. Organ with Great Work, Choir Work and attached Pedal, made in 1843 by J.H. Holtgrave.
