Omschrijving
Pakhuizen W.-Ind-Compagnie (1641-1642). L-vormig complex. Gevels met natuurstenen banden, die aan de voorzijde met twee door een fronton doorsneden trapeziumtoppen, oeils-de-boeuf en jaartalstenen; aan de Prins Hendrikkade een en aan de Peperstraat twee puntgevels, eveneens met de oeils-de-boeuf.
Inleiding
Vermoedelijk rond 1690 gebouwd voormalig commiesgebouw verbonden met en behorend bij het reeds onder monumentnummer 1222 beschermde complex van het Westindisch Pakhuis gelegen aan de Prins Hendrikkade, 's-Gravenhekje en Peperstraat. Het in kern 17e-eeuwse gebouw werd in de 18e-eeuw gewijzigd. Het gebouw is gesitueerd op de hoek van de Prins Hendrikkade en de Peperstraat en is gelegen aan een klein omsloten binnenplein.
Omschrijving
In baksteen opgetrokken gebouw op nagenoeg vierkante grondslag bestaande uit een souterrain en een bouwlaag onder een met pannen gedekt tentdak, bekroond door een vierkante schoorsteen. In de gevel aan de zijde van de Prins Hendrikkade twee meerruits schuifvensters. Gesloten gevel aan de Peperstraat. In de gevel grenzend aan het binnenplaatsje eveneens twee meerruits schuifvensters en onder het rechter venster een kelderluik met ijzeren geheng. Rechts hiervan een verhoogde entree, bestaande uit een paneeldeur met drieruits bovenlicht, toegankelijk via een trap. In het inwendige bevindt zich op de begane grond één kamer, overwelfd door een kruisgewelf met gedecoreerde sluitsteen.
Waardering
Voormalig commieskantoor van architectuur-, bouwhistorisch en cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege de detaillering, historische functie en de ruimtelijk-functionele relatie met het Westindisch Pakhuis.

Introduction
Former commissary building presumably built around 1690, connected with and belonging to the complex of the Westindisch Warehouse already protected under monument number 1222 located on the Prins Hendrikkade, 's-Gravenhekje and Peperstraat. Description
Building of brickwork on an almost square ground plan consisting of a basement and a storey under a tent roof covered with tiles, crowned by a square chimney. In the facade on the Prins Hendrikkade side two multi-light sash windows. Closed facade on the Peperstraat. In the facade bordering the courtyard likewise two multi-light sash windows and below the right window a cellar hatch with iron hinges. To the right of this an elevated entrance, consisting of a panelled door with three-light fanlight, accessible via a staircase. In the interior on the ground floor there is one room, vaulted by a cross vault with decorated keystone.

Former commissary office of architectural, building historical and cultural historical significance because of the detailing, historical function and the spatial-functional relationship with the Westindisch Warehouse.
