Omschrijving
Vleeshal. Rechthoekig bouwwerk op de hoek van de Voldersgracht, gebouwd omstreeks midden XVII, waarschijnlijk naar plannen van de steenhouwer Hendrik Swaef. Sobere, natuurstenen voorgevel met brede risaliet, waarboven gebeeldhouwd fronton met stadswapen. Bekronende siervazen op fronton en op de hoeken. Twee ingangen met trappen. Inwendig is de ruimte in tweeën verdeeld door Toscaanse zuilen. Fraaie kelders met kruisribgewelven op korte, ledestenen pijlers.

Description
Meat hall. Rectangular building on the corner of the Voldersgracht, built around the middle of the 17th century, probably to plans by the stonemason Hendrik Swaef. Sober, natural stone front facade with broad projection, above which a sculptured pediment with the city's coat of arms. Ornamental vases topping the pediment and at the corners. Two entrances with stairs. Internally the space is divided in two by Tuscan columns. Fine cellars with cross-ribbed vaults on short ledge-stone piers.
