Omschrijving
V.m. Oost-Indisch Huis (afd. Bouwkunde der T.H.). Aan de Oude Delft gelegen complex, bestaande uit een langwerpig gebouw (1631), oorspronkelijk met een lager middenstuk tussen twee trapgevels, waarvan de rechtse in 1722 vervangen door een hoger gebouw met statige lijstgevel. Het gedeelte uit 1631 heeft natuurstenen banden, geblokte ontlastingsbogen, geprofileerde waterlijsten en tegen sommige der trappen gebeeldhouwde voluutversieringen. In de vensters roedenverdeling XVIII. In het lagere middengedeelte een laat-gotisch natuurstenen poortje, van elders afkomstig. Het 18e eeuwse deel heeft belangwekkende interieurs uit de bouwtijd. Description
Formerly East India House (Department of Architecture of the T.H.). Complex located on the Oude Delft, consisting of an oblong building (1631), originally with a lower central section between two stepped gables, of which the right one was replaced in 1722 by a taller building with stately cornice-topped facade. The section from 1631 has natural stone bands, blocked relieving arches, profiled drip mouldings and against some of the gables carved volute ornaments. In the windows glazing bars 18th century. In the lower central section a late-Gothic natural stone small gate, from elsewhere. The 18th century part has important interiors from the construction period. Behind the 17th century section courtyard with valuable details.
