Omschrijving
V.m. Ammunitiemagazijn van Holland en Oude Zijdsarsenaal. Complex van gebouwen tussen Oude Delft en Geer, waarvan het zuidelijke deel uit 1601 dateert, doch later gepleisterd en verminkt werd met uitzondering van twee poortjes aan de Oude Delft met gebeeldhouwde sluitstenen en de gevels van de binnenplaats, die verlevendigd worden door natuurstenen banden en een getoogde natuurstenen poort en kruiskozijnen hebben. Noordelijk hiervan een sober gedeelte uit 1691-'92, het o.z. arsenaal, met bakstenen gevels op natuurstenen sokkel en eenvoudige houten kroonlijst. Rijk gebeeldhouwde gevelsteen met reliëf van Mars, omgeven door oorlogstrofeeen, omringd door wapenschilden. Hierbij aansluitend een gepleisterd gebouw (XVIII) met omlopend schilddak.

Description
Formerly Ammunition Magazine of Holland and Old Side Arsenal. Complex of buildings between Oude Delft and Geer, of which the southern part dates from 1601, but was later plastered and defaced with the exception of two small gates on the Oude Delft with carved keystones and the facades of the inner courtyard, which are enlivened by natural stone bands and an arched natural stone gate and cross windows. North of this a sober section from 1691-'92, the so-called arsenal, with brick facades on a natural stone base and simple wooden cornice. Richly carved decorative stone with relief of Mars, surrounded by war trophies, surrounded by coats of arms. Adjacent to this a plastered building (18th century) with surrounding hipped roof.
