Omschrijving
Oostpoort. Schilderachtig vestingwerk uit ca. 1400, waarvan de doorgang geflankeerd wordt door twee ronde torens met achthoekige, door nissen verlevendigde, bovengeledingen (1519), bekroond door slanke spitsen. Aansluitend hierbij een fragment van de vestingmuur met haaks daarop een waterpoortje. Het geheel in restauratie 1964.

Description
Oostpoort. Picturesque fortification structure from circa 1400, of which the passage is flanked by two round towers with octagonal, enlivened by niches, upper sections (1519), crowned by slender spires. Adjoining this a fragment of the fortification wall with at right angles to it a small water gate. The whole under restoration 1964.
