Omschrijving
Waaggebouw. Aan de westwand van de Markt achter het stadhuis gelegen sober gebouw met aan de voorzijde bakstenen lijstgevel met middenrisaliet, bekroond door houten fronton met handelssymbolen. Gevelsteen van de Goud- en zilversmedengildekamer, 1770. Aan de achterzijde twee panden onder een kroonlijst en met elk een eigen schilddak. Onder in de achtergevels grote, natuurstenen poorten, openend naar het water. Gevelsteen van het Collegium Medico Pharmaceuticum, 1767. Het gebouw is in de kroonlijst van de voorgevel gedateerd 1770.

Description
Waaggebouw (Weigh House). Located on the west wall of the Market behind the Town Hall, a sober building with on the front a brick cornice-topped facade with central projection, crowned by wooden pediment with trade symbols. Facade stone of the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Guild chamber, 1770. On the rear side two buildings beneath a cornice, each with its own hipped roof. Below in the rear facades large natural stone doorways, opening towards the water. Facade stone of the Collegium Medico Pharmaceuticum, 1767. The building is dated 1770 in the cornice of the front facade.
