Toren van de Ned. Herv. kerk. De toren bestaat uit een kort na 1395 gebouwd, vierkant benedendeel van baksteen, verlevendigd door eenvoudige spaarvelden, waartegen in de 16e eeuw een veelhoekige traptoren aan de westzijde verrees. Bovenbouw van drie achtkanten, waarvan het onderste, waarschijnlijk van Pasqualini, omstreeks 1540, Toskaanse halfzuiltjes en geprofileerde natuurstenen galmgaten met rondbogen op imposten heeft. Het tweede en derde achtkant, onderscheidenlijk van baksteen en hout, waartussen een koepeldak, zijn ontworpen door Pieter Post en voltooid in 1665. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van J., F. en T. Simon, 1615, diam. 109 cm. en één moderne klok. In de koepel klok van H. de Borch, 1520, diam. 66,9 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk J. H. Addicks en Zn., Amsterdam, is in 1995 buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Tower of the Dutch Reformed Church. The tower consists of a square lower section of brick, built shortly after 1395, enlivened by simple sparing fields, against which in the 16th century a polygonal stair turret arose on the west side. Superstructure of three octagons, of which the lowest, probably by Pasqualini, around 1540, has Tuscan half-columns and profiled natural stone sound holes with round arches on imposted bases. The second and third octagon, respectively of brick and wood, between which a dome roof, were designed by Pieter Post and completed in 1665. Bell frame with ringing of two bells, of which one by J., F. and T. Simon, 1615, diameter 109 cm. and one modern bell. In the dome a bell by H. de Borch, 1520, diameter 66.9 cm. Mechanical tower clock J. H. Addicks & Son, Amsterdam, was taken out of service in 1995.
