The register's description
Omschrijving
Bijgebouwen van het voormalige, in 1622 gebouwde en ca. 1930 gesloopte kasteel "Gen Hous". De op een U-vormige plattegrond gebouwde bijgebouwen bestaan uit -een witgeverfd, 7 traveeën breed, dubbel woonhuis met verdieping onder met muldenpannen gedekt zadeldak. Op b.g. en verdieping vensters met hardstenen onder- en bovendorpel; voor de deur van het linker woongedeelte een wat Moors-aandoend portiek met balkon. Het in de kern 17e eeuwse complex heeft in de 19e eeuw en omstreeks 1930 verbouwingen ondergaan.

Description
Outbuildings of the former castle "Gen Hous", built in 1622 and demolished circa 1930. The outbuildings built on a U-shaped plan consist of a whitewashed, 7 bays wide, double dwelling house with storey beneath covered with Dutch tiles gabled roof. On ground floor and storey windows with sandstone under- and over-lintels; in front of the door of the left dwelling section a somewhat Moorish-looking portico with balcony. The 17th century core of the complex underwent alterations in the 19th century and circa 1930.
