Omschrijving
PAND met lijstgevel; dwars schilddak met hoekschoorstenen. 19e eeuws (XIX B) woonhuis. Eenvoudig verdiepingloos pand op onderkeldering, opgetrokken uit baksteen op gecementeerde plint en waarvan het voorste (beschermde) deel gedekt door een pannengedekt schilddak met schoorstenen; eenvoudig geprofileerde rechte kroonlijst. De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel in het midden verhoogd met kapel onder pannengedekt zadeldakje waarlangs geschulpte windveren; eenvoudig geprofileerde deur met bovenlicht en levensboom; te weerszijden twee zesruitsschuiframen; dergelijke vensters in de zijgevels; 1 1/2 steens hanekammen. Eenvoudig woonhuis waarvan het rechthoekige door een schilddak gedekte voorste gedeelte van architectuurhistorisch belang is als schaars voorbeeld van 2e helft 19e eeuwse woonhuis-architectuur in de van origine overwegend agrarische nederzetting Staphorst.

Description
BUILDING with cornice-topped facade; transverse hipped roof with corner chimneys. 19th century (second half of 19th century) residential house. Simple single-storey building on basement, built of brick on cemented plinth and of which the front (protected) part covered by a tile-covered hipped roof with chimneys; simply profiled straight cornice. The symmetrically arranged front facade heightened in the middle with chapel under tile-covered saddle roof flanked by scalloped weather vanes; simply profiled door with fanlight and life-tree; on either side two six-pane sash windows; similar windows in the side facades; 1½ brick cock's-combs. Simple residential house of which the rectangular front section covered by a hipped roof is of architectural-historical importance as a rare example of second half 19th century residential house architecture in the originally predominantly agricultural settlement Staphorst.
