Omschrijving
Kruiskerk, die ontstaan is door diverse verbouwingen in de loop van de 17e eeuw uit een in 1609 gesticht zaalkerkje. Tot de inventaris behoren een eiken preekstoel en banken (1663). Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Nevenwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1901 gemaakt door Bakker en Timmenga.
In klokkenstoel een gelui van twee klokken, waarvan een gegoten door F. Simon, 1634, diam. 82 cm en een gegoten door J.N. Derck, 1768, diam. 52 cm. In de kerk een wijzerplaat met daarboven een klein (luid)klokje met slaghamer, 1860. Mechanisch torenuurwerk Gebr. van Bergen, Midwolda, 1918, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Cross church, which arose through various alterations in the course of the 17th century from a hall church founded in 1609. The inventory includes an oak pulpit and benches (1663). Organ with Main work, Positive and free Pedal, made in 1901 by Bakker and Timmenga.
In the bell tower a ring of two bells, one cast by F. Simon, 1634, diameter 82 cm and one cast by J.N. Derck, 1768, diameter 52 cm. In the church a clock face with a small (bell) chime above it with striking hammer, 1860. Mechanical tower clock Gebr. van Bergen, Midwolda, 1918, has been taken out of service.
