Omschrijving
Voormalig raadhuis. Uit 1792 blijkens gedenksteen; inwendig verbouwd in 1925. Door pilasters gelede klassicistische voorgevel, met omlijste ingang en een fronton in de middentravee. Dakruiter met koepeltje en een klok uit 1763. In de burgemeesterskamer een eenvoudige marmeren schoorsteen en in de secretarie een kastenbetimmering (plm 1780). In goed samenspel bepalen vooral het raadhuis en de achtergelegen kerk het totaalbeeld van het Marktplein.

Description
Former town hall. From 1792 according to commemorative stone; internally rebuilt in 1925. Classicist front facade articulated by pilasters, with framed entrance and a pediment in the central bay. Roof turret with cupola and a clock from 1763. In the mayor's room a simple marble fireplace and in the secretariat wooden fitted cupboards (approximately 1780). The town hall and the church behind it together largely determine the overall appearance of the Market Square.
