Exterior description and setting
Three storey, five bay building built in 1928 for B. Hyam, hatter and clothier. Constructed in cast stone with metal windows with panels at second floor level carrying embossed letter ‘H’ and Diocletian window to central bay; dentils under moulded cornice, and plain parapet with low central gable feature. Much altered ground floor with replacement shop fronts and entrance doors with external roller shutters.

Evaluation
Three storey, five bay building in cast stone with metal windows built in1928. It is of a relatively late date and although of some local interest, it is not among the best examples of the type and did not merit a full survey.
