The Department's description

A three storey commercial building, built in two periods 1929 and 1939, in Art Deco Classical style with Egyptian style decoration. Walls of white faience, moulded CABLE HOUSE and BRITISH MADE SHOES. Horizontal bands of windows (3:4:?) between giant order pilasters. Demolished and replaced with three storey red brick commercial building.
