The Department's description

A three storey commercial building in traditional style, built c.1954. Tiled mansard roof, brick to upper floors, rock-faced stone to ground floor. Symmetrical elevation three windows wide; three dormers, flat arched first and second floor windows, modern shop fronts either side of flat-arched wide doorway. This traditional styled 1954 building remains unaltered but has little architectural merit.
