The Department's description

A cowtail closed head lever pump with plain shaped spirally decorated column and a fluted cap with acorn finial. It is inscribed 'R Riddell NtnArds' round its head. Purchased second hand as a garden ornament.

Installed in its present location recently. Further particulars in the EHS Report 'Water Pumps in Northern Ireland : A Preliminary Survey' by Fred Hammond, January 1997, Pump no 35.
