Exterior description and setting
The garden shelter could not be found during scoping despite several attempts to locate it. Presumed demolished.
The First Survey card records:
'Shelter in wooded grounds has boulder rubble walls, pitched roof, plain barges & rafters exposed on underside. Open front with side apron walls & small sandstone columns (at) each side. Rounded concrete coping. Pebble floor & plast. rubble interior wall decor with sea shells. Condition fair but decor.
Damaged. About 12ft front.
Suggest mid 19c with recent reconstruction.
