The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
The derelict remains of a house now comprising only the front and side walls to door head level, with one derelict window remaining. Main entrance faces south.
Described in the first survey in 1972 as "A two-storey three-bay, harled and whitened house with three chimneys. Sixteen-pane sashed windows are 4-pane wide. A modern porch at centre spoils the façade."
SETTING: The building stands in a rural area facing the road and set back slightly from it with a small garden in front, and a farm yard to the rear. A new house stands to the east. Gabled outbuildings of no architectural merit stand to the west.

Evaluation
This was a house of early Victorian date built in the Georgian tradition, but much of its fabric has now disappeared with only a portion of three walls still standing.
