The Department's description
Historical information
Built in 1824 by Rev William George Macartney as a glebe house for St Catherine’s C. of I. Church, Killead, at cost of £2,000, of which £1,100 was paid by the Board of First Fruits and the rest by Macartney himself.
By 1970 the original Georgian glazing bars had been removed from the lower storey windows and the fanlight of the door.
