The Department's description

These buildings were surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. A partial record was taken during the Second Survey as the hall is not of sufficient interest to warrant a full survey.

12 and 13 Purdysburn Vilage. These buildings were original shown as 4 separate dwellings. In the late twentieth century they were converted to 2 dwellings only and the internal layout and detailing was lost. Externally they retain their original cast iron diamond paned windows. Due to these alterations they are not of the same interest as the other listed dwellings in the village.

Gospel Hall - Single storey corrugated hall (both walls and pitced roof) situated at the end of Purdysburn Village.
