This building was surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. Partial record only was taken during the Second Survey as the building is not worthy of a full survey.
A substantial mid-nineteenth century two-storey house in rubble stone with brick dressings, having end bays set back and ground floor windows set in elliptical recesses. It is located in a rural
setting on the Ballygowan Road, Hillsborough. Restoration of the house has recently begun, and the majority of historic fabric has been lost, although the facade retains some interest.
