This building was surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. Only a Partial Survey was taken during the Second Survey as the structure is scheduled.
A late eighteenth-century lock built of sandstone blocks laid in courses, located between the Aghalee and Aghagallon Bridge in Killough. A modern house has been constructed and a timber jetty laid next to the site, compromising the
setting. There has also been some disruption to the stonework to one side of the Lock. The lock is part of a scheduled monument, Reach 13 of the Lagan Navigation (ANT 067:501) and IHR no. 02680:041:00.
