The Department's description

SITE VISIT 03/02/2023 JOC-HB, WMCN-HM N& F MILNE OUTDOOR RECREATION RE CONSTRUCT OF LOUGH MONEY WALK TRAIL.
On accessing monument via patch from main road carpark, overbridge, over farm track, was observed to have accommodation built into abutments - upon investigation this seems to be toilet block, one either side of bridge, with connecting low ceiling rooms between. Date marker cast into bridge deck reads 1933.
