Exterior description and setting
A harled and whitened cottage of mid-nineteenth century date, having timber sheeted door flanked by an 18 pane window to one side and a 12 pane window to the other (First Survey information). Now demolished and replaced by a modern house.
The First Survey card records:
‘Pre 1860 A harled and whitened cottage with slated roof and central chimney. The sheeted door is flanked on one side by an 18-pane sashed window and on the other by a 12 - pane sashed window. There is a small annex to north.
Does not appear on OS map of 1833. appears on 1860 OS map.
