Walls to street are painted and line rendered. Ground floor has banded rustication. Plain projecting continuous cill course at first floor, moulded cill course at second floor, and moulded eaves cornice. Platband runs below each of these courses. At ground floor left is front entrance with original painted timber four-panel door and rectangular transom. To its right is a single storey canted bay window with cornice around flat roof (downpipe to right with decorative hopper. It has a 1/1 sliding sash window to each face and granite cills. The coach arch to the left of the front door will be described under HB16/28/101C. First and second floors each have two 1/1 sliding sash windows. There is a third narrower 1/1 sash window on second floor over coach arch at left. All windows have stop ended chamfered reveals and those at top are diminished in height. All openings are in line except door, which is offset slightly to left of window above.

Left and right gables form party walls with adjoining houses (HB16/28/101C, HB16/28/101A respectively).
Walls at rear are rendered. A two-storey return abuts at right. At left is a 1/1 sliding sash window to each floor of main block. Above the return at half landing between first and second floor of main block is 1/1 sliding sash window. The return has a pitched artificial slate roof, with skylight to right pitch, and rendered walls. Right cheek has 1/1 top hung window at left and door at right. In line above are two 2/2 sliding sash windows. The gable of this return is abutted by a single storey lean-to addition.
