Historical information
A building is shown on the 1834 OS 6” map. It is described in the 1835 Valuation as measuring 24ft x 27ft x 15ft, with 37ft x 27ft x 7ft return. It is cited as Moygannon Cottage in the 1859 OS map. The 1861 Second valuation notes it as Holly Lodge. It then measured 24ft x 15ft x 2 storeys high (plus porch), with a second part measuring 10ft 6in x 13ft 6in x 2 storeys. Th fact that the measurements differ suggests a mid-19th C rebuild.
