Exterior description and setting

Single storey/ two bay vernacular house up a lane on the E side of Moygannon Road. Front elevation faces W.

Pitched natural slate roof with tiled skew to N gable and rendered brick skew to S. Rendered and painted chimney to either gable. Walls are painted smooth cement rendered. Flush eaves and no rainwater goods. Numerous slates are gone to the right bay.

Main entrance is in a lean-to wind break porch to right side of the left bay. It has a shallow cat-slide roof tied into eaves of main roof, and walls as façade. Painted timber panelled door (20thC) with glazed top panes. To left is a 4/2 exposed box sash window and there is a similar window to the right bay.

Left gable is blank.

Rear elevation has a single window to each bay (both boarded up).

Right gable is blank and abutted by a small latrine lean-to. Lean-to has a corrugated metal roof and t+g sheeted door.

Setting:
To front is a yard with small outbuilding on S side (of no interest). To rear is a field.

First appears on the 1901-02 OS map which suggests a later 19thC date.
