Exterior description and setting
Three-storey house at right-hand end of a long row of much-altered early/mid 19thC houses.
This building is much deeper than it is wide, its main elevation being its right one, facing SE. Hipped roof with modern gutters. Walls are painted lined cement render with a chamfered basecourse.
The principal elevation faces onto a side alley (not the main street). Its right end advances under a cat-slide of the main roof. All windows are modern top-hung uPVC units; those to first floor are taller than the others. Left bay has two windows at ground floor and one to left on each upper floor. Right bay has a door to ground floor and a window to first floor only. The left cheek of the advanced right bay has a small window at ground floor.
The left gable faces to the street (SE) and is in line with front elevations of the rest of the terrace. It is one bay wide and has a single opening on each floor. Windows detailed as front elevation. Plastic French windows at first floor lead onto a wrought iron Grecian Revival style balcony supported on three scrolled iron brackets.
Rear (NW) elevation abuts the adjacent house (HB16/11/013L) and is blank. It has a truncated and leaded wall head chimneystack
Right (NE) gable is much altered, with metal fire stair rising to upper floors.

Not shown on the 1834 town map. Shown on the 1861 map and cited in the 1863 Valuation as measuring 6yds x 15.5yds x 3 storeys. The 1969 HMBB slide shows a door to the street gable at ground floor
