The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
A single segmental span carries a single lane road over a small tributary of the Clanrye River. Of random granite rubble throughout. The parapet, which is coped with large granite blocks, returns at NE for a short distance. The abutments and faces are heavily repointed in cement

Shown on 1834 OS 6” map and explicitly cited as “Bavan Br” on 1860 edition. Probably of early 19th C date.
