The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Two storey/ three bay south facing house with attached two storey outhouses to right gable. Large lean-to shed to west gable and outshot to rear.
Pitched roof has natural slates roof with cement copings to gables. Three slated dormers to front elevation. Two cement rendered chimneys, one on party wall between left and central bay, one on right gable, between end bay and out houses. Walls are of rendered random granite rubble.
All windows are 3/3 margin-paned sliding sash. Left bay has one window to ground floor and one dormer window above. Central bay has one window and broad t+g sheeted door in shallow gabled porch to ground floor, and dormer window above. Right bay has window and door to ground floor, and dormer window above. All dormer windows boarded up.
