The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
A two storey/ two bay, south facing house with contiguous barn to east, and single storey shed to west gable.
Gabled roof has natural slates with single rendered chimney to centre of house. No rain water gods. Lime rendered random rubble granite walls to house and barn.
House: Projecting gabled porch at right of south elevation, probably a later addition. Margin paned sliding sash windows (with exposed sash boxes) in poor condition. Two windows to left of porch on both floors.
Barn: Two doors on ground floor with one centred above, all sheeted. External granite steps rise up to first floor door on east gable of barn.
Unusual gate piers with slate coping topped by rendered rubble sloping into finial stone.
