The Department's description

A one and half story gabled dwelling. The walls are rendered with cement.

East (front) elevation has a central door to the ground floor with a canted bay window on either side and two gable dormers above. The windows are top-hung double-glazed replacements.

Prospect Cottage first appears on the 1919 OS 6” map; as it is not on the 1900-01 edition, it is therefore of earlier 20th century date.
